The Overall Process:
I'll start a Squarespace account for you with a generic password. Squarespace gives you a free 14 day trial before you have to start your paid Squarespace personal plan membership, but the site doesn't actually go live until you've started it. So, what I'll do is send you a list of materials I'll need (photos, links to media, resume, etc...) and you'll send me whatever materials you have or want on the site- some I should be able to pull from your current site. I'll pick your brain a little about who you are as an actor if anything is unclear to me after looking at your current site just to make sure the site represents you accurately from both an artistic and a marketing standpoint and then I'll start building the site on my end! If there's anything you'd like me to know about you, your marketing/brand/type or personal design aesthetic, don't hesitate to let me know what you like and who you are!
When it's in a good place for a first draft, I'll send you a walkthrough video and you can see what it would look like live so you'd be able to give me edits or notes. Please Be Kindly Advised: NOTES/EDITS MUST BE SENT IN WRITING. If needed, I can happily provide a Google Doc of the website layout to easily add notes into! You can also just log in to your account at any point and look around the site, of course! And when we have a collective thumbs up on the final draft, I'll send you the link to start your billing membership, transfer or re-point re-point or get help your domain (depending on your preference) and we'll get it live and in the world!
As far as turnaround goes, once I have all of your materials, I'll send over a draft in 10 business days. If you need the site expedited, that can be accommodated with a $100 expedition rate.
**I do ask that if you're waiting on a reel to be finished or retouched headshots, etc that are going to take a significant amount of time to get to me after the site is finished, that final payment be sent over on completion of the site. When those extra materials are ready, just send them to me and I'll add them to the site as soon as they're ready!* I'm always here for ya! I just know some of these things can take time out of your control.**
What to expect within my website package (and why):
My overall mission is to keep my websites clean, straight forward, immediately engaging and clutter free. I personally can't stand busy websites. I find them hard to navigate and stay on and I want people fall in love with the first look of your site and be excited to see what's inside and keep on clicking when they do. And to immediately understand your marketing as an actor! That's what I strive to bring to the table:)
As you saw on the site, I work on Squarespace. Their membership subscription is currently $12/month or $16/month depending if you pay monthly or annually (though I have a discount code for 10% off your first year!), and I use that platform for two reasons:
1. Squarespace's website templates are plentiful and just take the look of professionalism to the next level in a user friendly way. Oh, and their support team is INCREDIBLE. Award winning, actually. So anything you might need help with in the future, I'm always here for ya but you also have the wonderful resource of their live help chat line and email support! Customer service is huge to me not only for my personal self but the platforms I choose to work with, and SS is a wonderful example of top notch customer service.
2. Which brings me to my second point, with SS, you can ultimately take over website management yourself! Part of my website design package is to teach you how to manage your site yourself so you don't have to throw more money into it in the future. (If that's something you're interested in knowing. If not, I'm always here to update for you!) As a fellow actor, I know how much cash goes into our marketing and if I can help alleviate that with the future of your website, I'm thrilled to! After the site is done, I'll send you a detailed tutorial video on how to update a Squarespace site and I'm also here to send you up to two short tutorial videos on how to do specific things that you might want to implement or change. It's a REALLY user friendly platform and I'll make sure you feel comfortable in learning how to update your information with ease. But when the site is done, know that I am always here for ya if you have questions!

My $600 Basic Artist Website rate includes:
A Beautiful, Contemporary Personalized Website Design that represent YOU as an artist with up to 5 pages including homepage (Industry standard 5 pages are- home, gallery, resume, media, contact though this is up to your discretion • Additional pages can be added at $75/page).
Implemented SEO integration to give your site the widest digital reach
2 Rounds of Revisions on the site after the first draft (additional at $50/hr)
Custom Domain | Transfer/ReDirect/Purchase Depending on your specific needs (On Squarespace, your domain is free for the first year if you choose the annual subscription and $20/year for every year after that. Or it's $20/year upfront and after if you choose the monthly subscription.)
Custom Designed Favicon (the little block in the corner of the browser tab that has a personalized website logo)
Custom Designed Name Logo - on the footer of your site, matching your site design and subtly animated (if desired) to reinforce your branding on the footer of every page.
A General Editing Tutorial so you can take over site management. I’m happy to send you up to three personalized additional mini tutorials after completion of the site if anything is unclear on the general editing tutorial when you begin taking over site management.
Basic Analytics which is a part of the personal plan you’d be paying for via Squarespace but allows you to track site activity right from your Squarespace Dashboard!
NOTE: I do up to two rounds of revisions for the site. NOTES MUST BE SENT IN WRITING. If needed, I have a Google Doc of the website layout to easily add notes into! If revisions take over 3 weeks to get to me, website must be paid in full. Notes can be sent for up to 4 more weeks. If notes are note sent within the extra 4-week period, a $50/fee per month will be charged for each 4-week period that passes before notes are sent.

The Second Homepage / Look #2: $50
I build your homepage based on the best formatting for your headshot. But sometimes, when new headshots are taken, a new homepage is needed to accommodate the format of the new shots. I.e. headshots that are portrait vs. landscape. Have a great landscape headshot? Natalie, Kat or James’ homepage style is probably your best bet! Have an amazing portrait shot? Let’s go with Nicolas, Kemo (a Jen Rudolph favorite) or Ellen’s style of homepage! With this add-on, you would have BOTH of these homepage styles set up and ready to go for any type of new headshot/editorial shot/etc you might get in the future making that marketing switch a piece of cake!
Another way of looking at it… Have a second favorite headshot that captures a different facet of your marketing/personality/character work? I can create a secondary homepage with an alternate headshot look and teach you how to swap it for a temporary homepage in a split second when the audition/meeting/workshop comes along that’s perfect for THAT specific character type. Switching it back to your main homepage/headshot can be done just as quickly with the click of a button! This way you have a back-up homepage for that second look that can cast you specifically in an instant.

External Vimeo Media Page Set-Up: $100
All media on Squarespace sites has to be linked via either YouTube or Vimeo. If you don’t have them uploaded, I can happily set up a Vimeo page for you (which is free!), adding your headshot, a mini bio and all of your desired media with SEO savvy titles (within Vimeo’s free plan limit- which is quite large) as well as a custom Vimeo domain name.
Resume Reformatting: $100
I can also happily reformat your resume in a clean, easy to read contemporary style! I use the style/template that mine is at ashleemundy.com/resume. I’ll send you a PDF, JPEG and editable Word or Pages file on completion.
The Scrolling Homepage: $100
All sites come with a homepage- naturally! But if you’d like a scrolling homepage jam packed with all the essentials, we can make that homepage pop even more! (Comes with up to 3 section - additional sections at $10 each.) See examples of these homepages below:

Blog Page: $150
Want to add a blog to your site? Or have an existing blog you’d like to move over? With this add on-on I’ll create 10 blog pages (10 templates) with varying design elements (imagery, gallery, video, etc) for you to easily be able to duplicate, add in your text and create your own blog! If you have an existing blog, I’ll copy over up 10 of your past blogs posts on the new site. Additionally, I’ll provide a custom video showing you how to design, draft, schedule, and publish new blog posts using your template pages or current blog posts!
Payment Details:
Half upfront and half on completion of the site. So, $300 deposit and $300 final payment. *Final payment is subject to change if agreed upon add-ons are implemented!*

Contact/Hours of Operation:
I use email for contact. I provide extensive video screen capture/image services for this reason so you always have a visual to be able to provide me with notes. If needed, a 15 minute phone consultation can be set-up at the beginning of the process to discuss any website details. Scheduled phone conversations after that will be charged at my hourly rate of $50/hr. When I start your site, I will be here to be back in touch with you pretty much at your disposal during the week via email Mon-Fri. I will answer weekend emails first thing Monday morning.
